Licensing

Q: What types of licenses do you offer?

We offer three licensing tiers to fit different needs:

• Personal (49€): For one specific campaign, website, or project. Valid for 12 months.
• Commercial (99€): For multiple campaigns and placements within your organization. Valid for 12 months.
• Exclusive License (999€+): Full exclusive rights to the image. Only you can use it. Perpetual license with modification rights.

All licenses include high-resolution downloads and a professional usage agreement.

Q: What's the difference between Single-Use and Multi-Use?

A Single-Use License permits the image to be used in one specific campaign or project only. For example: one social media campaign, one website, or one marketing piece.

A Multi-Use License allows you to use the image across multiple campaigns, websites, and marketing materials within your organization during the 12-month license period — ideal for brands that want flexibility without committing to exclusivity.

Q: What is included with an Exclusive License?

The Exclusive License gives you full, exclusive rights to the image. This means:

• No one else can license or use that image
• You can modify, edit, or adapt the image
• The license is perpetual (no expiry)
• Unlimited placements across any channel
• Commercial and editorial use permitted

Once an image is licensed exclusively, it is removed from our catalog.

Q: Can I use the images for social media?

Yes. Multi-Use and Exclusive licenses include unrestricted social media usage across all platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, etc.).

Single-Use licenses include social media usage for the specific campaign you've licensed the image for. If you plan to use the image across multiple campaigns or platforms, we recommend the Multi-Use license.

Q: Can I modify or edit the images?

• Single-Use & Multi-Use: Minor adjustments (cropping, color correction, text overlays) are permitted. Major alterations that change the creative intent are not allowed.
• Exclusive License: Full modification rights. You can edit, composite, or adapt the image freely.

Q: Can I resell or sublicense the images?

No. All licenses are non-transferable and non-sublicensable. The image cannot be resold, redistributed, or used as part of templates, stock libraries, or products for resale.

Purchase & Download

Q: How does the purchase process work?

1. Browse our portfolio and select the image(s) you want
2. Choose your license type at checkout
3. Complete payment securely via credit card or PayPal
4. Receive your download link and license agreement by email within minutes
5. Download your high-resolution files immediately

Q: What file format will I receive?

All images are delivered as high-resolution JPG files (minimum 3000px on the longest edge, 300 DPI). This format is suitable for:

• Print campaigns (billboards, magazines, posters)
• Digital use (websites, social media)
• Packaging and branded materials

If you require a different format (TIFF, PNG, RAW), please contact us before purchase — custom formats are available with Exclusive licenses.

Q: How quickly will I receive my files?

Downloads are available immediately after payment is confirmed. You'll receive an email with:

• A secure download link (valid for 7 days)
• Your signed license agreement (PDF)
• Your invoice and receipt

For Exclusive licenses, delivery typically takes 24–48 hours as we prepare your personalized contract.

Q: What if I have issues downloading my files?

Contact us at contact@urivaldolopes.com with your order number. We'll resend your download link or provide an alternative delivery method within 24 hours.

Pricing & Payment

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

We accept:

• Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
• PayPal
• Bank transfer (for purchases over 500€, contact us directly)

All payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments and Stripe.

Q: Do you offer discounts for bulk purchases?

Yes. We offer volume discounts for orders of 5 or more images. Contact us at contact@urivaldolopes.com with details of your project and we'll prepare a custom quote within 24 hours.

Q: Do your prices include VAT?

Prices shown are exclusive of VAT. VAT will be calculated at checkout based on your location and billing address, in accordance with EU regulations.

Q: Can I get a refund?

Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final once the download has been accessed. However, if you experience technical issues or receive damaged files, we will resolve the issue immediately — either by resending the files or providing a full refund.

Usage & Rights

Q: Where can I use the images?

Depending on your license type, images can be used in:

• Commercial campaigns (advertising, marketing)
• Editorial content (magazines, articles, blogs)
• Websites and digital platforms
• Social media
• Print materials (brochures, catalogs, packaging)
• Out-of-home (billboards, posters) — Multi-Use and Exclusive only

Prohibited uses include: pornographic content, defamatory use, NFTs or blockchain tokens, and any use that violates the photographer's moral rights.

Q: Do I need to credit Urivaldo Lopes?

Crediting is appreciated but not required for Single-Use and Multi-Use licenses. When possible, we ask that you include: "Photo by Urivaldo Lopes" or tag @urivaldolopes on social media.

For editorial publications, crediting is typically required by industry standards.

Q: Can I use the images for client work?

If you are an agency or freelancer licensing on behalf of a client, the license must be purchased in the client's name. The end user (the brand using the image) must be the named licensee on the agreement.

Q: How long does my license last?

• Single-Use: 12 months from date of purchase
• Multi-Use: 12 months from date of purchase (renewable)
• Exclusive: Perpetual — no expiry

After a Single-Use or Multi-Use license expires, you must either renew the license or remove the image from active use.

Custom Requests & Commissions

Q: Can I commission a custom photoshoot?

Yes. Urivaldo Lopes is available for commissioned work including editorial shoots, brand campaigns, lookbooks, and product photography.

Q: Can I request a specific style or theme not in the current catalog?

Absolutely. If you have a specific creative need, contact us and we can discuss:

• Whether we have unreleased images that match your brief
• Commissioning a custom shoot
• Curating a tailored selection from the archive

Technical

Q: What resolution are your images?

All images in our catalog are a minimum of 3000 pixels on the longest edge at 300 DPI, suitable for both digital and large-format print applications.

Many of our editorial images are available in even higher resolutions — up to 6000px — perfect for billboards, magazine spreads, and premium print campaigns.

Q: Are the images royalty-free or rights-managed?

Our licenses are rights-managed — meaning the license is tied to specific usage terms (duration, scope, exclusivity). This ensures fair compensation for the photographer and gives you clear, legally-protected usage rights.

Q: Can I preview the image before purchasing?

Yes. All preview images on our site are watermarked and at reduced resolution. Once you complete your purchase, you'll receive the full, unmarked, high-resolution file.

For Exclusive license considerations, we can arrange a private preview of the final file before purchase — contact us to request.
